1. The monitor should be positioned at the optimum visual distance, i.e. between 50 to 70 cm away from your eyes.

2. Place the monitor directly in front of you in order to avoid twisting and turning your neck and body.

3. Adjust the monitor height so that your head and neck are in a natural position. The angle of your line of sight should descend, i.e. the last line of text on the monitor should be approx. 10-15 cm below your eyes.

4. Avoid reflections on the monitor. Position the monitor so that your line of sight is parallel to the window.

5. Plan your monitor work in such a way that you have to do other intermittent work. If this is not possible, then you should take small breaks throughout the day to avoid possible eye or repetitive strain and/or posture based problems.
